I went to a Bible study last night. One of the brothers, who’s a kid’s soccer coach, taught us a trick.
When a kid cries (from falling, tripping, etc), HAVE THEM LOOK UP (to you).
They’ll pretty much stop crying (turns into sniffs). You can then have them do something meaningless (raise their hands).
They’ll stop crying.
