If I were a mom, I’ll do whatever I could so my kid isn’t born on this day.

Pike Place Market Street Fair is smaller than I thought. 
Nevertheless, I praise the Lord for listening to my prayers and have
favor on me.  The whole week, it had been forcasted to
shower.  Praise Him for the awesome weather for us to enjoy.

Jonah and the Ship

So… here’s something I learned from pastor Bob Coy.  The ship
that the prophet Jonah was on, after he ran away from his calling,
failing to be the Salt and Light of the world, experienced a huge
storm.  All the people on the ship were praying to their gods,
asking “Why?  What’s wrong with it?“
Supposely the Ship can be viewed as the World we live in, and the Storm
is the evil and mess of the world, and everyone is asking “why is the world in a mess?“,
that’s when people turn to Christians and ask ‘why’?  Yet… if we
are like Jonah and hide ourselves amongst the ungodly, living the same
lifestyle they do, we’ll fail to shine, just like a mis-functioning
flash light that’s useless when God wants you to shine, people will say
to Christians “you guys don’t have the answer because you’re messed up
like we are.” 

All because you don’t want to answer God’s calling, and running away
from our responsibilities, thinking by doing so, we’ll get away from
that task, when it’ll just make us seem useless and
irresponsible. 
Freaking sad.
